It’s been a long time coming…

Nearly six years since the release of Anti-Anti, I am finally just months away from the release of No One In Control. I never intended on this long of a gap, but it’s a long story that I am very happy to finally have behind me. So, let me catch everyone up on the recent developments:

I signed to Serpents & Snakes, a new label backed by long-time friends King’s of Leon. Thanks to them, this album was finally able to come to life. I recorded the album with Bill Skibbe at Key Club in the tiny town of Benton Harbor, Michigan in February. You may recognize Bill’s work with The Kills for their last album. The album was then mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side Music in New York.

Now, I’m just waiting for an official release date (Fall 2012) once we get a clear window for PR with Big Hassle.

In the meantime, I’ve set up 9 east coast shows in July to get the new songs and new members of the band broken in and road-ready. I can’t wait to see all of my friends across the country again.

Thanks a lot! We’ll more than likely be in Mississippi for a stop when we do a proper full US tour supporting the album this fall.
